BEA is partnering with the IFC’s Corporate Governance Project in providing support to the Macedonian Stock Exchange in conducting an interesting survey aimed at exploiting the extent to which Macedonian listed companies take care about their investor relations and corporate social responsibility using their web sites. In cooperation with the Partners for Financial Stability Program, whose methodology was applied for the survey, Macedonian Stock Exchange will promote the survey results on December 9, 2008. In accordance with the findings from the investigation, Macedonian companies that are listed at the stock exchange do disclose significant amount of relevant information on their web sites, opposite to the expectations prior to the survey.
