The Business Environment Activity (BEA) has supported organization of a three-day event of the National CSR Coordinative Body that was devoted to further promotion of the CSR concept in the country. The event took place from September 23 through September 25, 2008 in Skopje and gathered above 60 participants and guests from the region.

The first part of the event included a “training of trainers” program, which was aimed at educating Macedonian companies and consultants in developing CSR projects. The final day was dedicated to presentations of the CSR success stories in the region. The “CSR Oscars”-awarded companies from Albania, Serbia and Macedonia talked about their CSR activities and presented their awarded projects.

BEA is one of the several supporters of the work of the National CSR Body, along with the German agency InWent and its counterparts in Macedonia and the UNDP program in Macedonia.
